Hand picked groups of 28 voters have kept Mo's name as scarce as possible on Cy Young ballots ever since. If you've seen ballots from some of these years, AL and NL, who did and didn't get votes, you would ask questions. But that information isn't readily available to the general public. If the process were defensible, it would not be secret.

From Joel Sherman: "Rivera broke Goose Gossage's Yankee relief record of Most amazingly, of the record 4,962 homers spanked in 1996, Rivera allowed just one, Page 208 from Joel Sherman's book, "Birth of a Dynasty," about the 1996 Yankees, published in 2006 by Rodale. Following the 1996 regular season, Rivera pitched 14.1IP in the post season.
