NYC Mayor deBlasio spots Mariano Rivera in restaurant, takes cell phone photo to show his son-NY Post

"New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio jokingly asked legendary Yankees pitcher Mariano Rivera to help him get a better grip on things after a chance meeting Tuesday night.
De Blasio was dining at West 56th Street restaurant Prime Grill with Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver when he spotted Mo across the room.
A diner tells us, “De Blasio was so surprised to see Mariano, he got up fast, handed his bodyguard his phone to take a picture and told Mariano how much he admires him.” The source added, “He joked to Mariano, ‘You need to teach me how to keep a good grip so items don’t fall out of my hands.'”
They spent 10 minutes chatting. He told Shelly, “I can’t wait until I show my son [Dante] the picture.”" image from NY Post
